Sunflower Fields Forever

In photography, the golden hour is a period shortly after sunrise or before sunset during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky.

That is exactly what I stumbled upon in this sunflower field.

The picture above is a bit strange to me. I’m not usually the one in front of the camera. I much prefer the behind the scenes work. It was mostly a split-second decision to get my photo taken. As you may be able to tell, I am not dressed at all appropriately for a photo shoot, but seeing a field like this may be a once in a lifetime chance; so why the hell not, right?!

These are actually the first photos that I’ve ever been able to capture during the golden hour. I’m usually pretty bad at time management, so by the time I wake up to see the sunrise or drive out to see the sunset, I’m usually late.

I can’t believe that I’ll be moving into college in a WEEK. As per usual, there are so many things I wanted to do and places I wanted to photograph. Until next summer, I guess. Also, did anyone get my title reference? I basically couldn’t stop singing it. Comment below if you understand me.
