It’s not often that I get the chance to go home and relax. With busy school and work schedules, when a free weekend pops up, you take advantage of it!

I had plans to visit the local apple orchard on Saturday, but alas it rained, a lot. Instead, I spent the day cuddling with Mocha and watching movies. A pretty great alternative, if you ask me!

That evening I also went over to my dad’s and we picked some of the pumpkins and squash that were ready. In total I have 8 pumpkins, 5 butternut squash and 2 watermelons in the garden. We only picked a few that night, but I seriously can’t believe that we have that many pumpkins!

I also played around a bit with some filters while I was editing, and I thought I would share them now. This one is the original:

Friday night I also had family over for dinner and we had French Onion Chicken and Scalloped Potatoes. It was delicious!

I had a great weekend home, now I can’t wait for October and fall break!
