When Everything Goes Wrong.

These last few days have been a real doozy. I swear all my bad karma is coming at me all at once. I’ve paid $41.95 on the turnpike (was only on for 5 min.), slammed my bumper over a random sidewalk at Walmart, nearly hit dozens of cars driving, and tonight I burnt $30 worth of veggies. (Also, now I have nothing to eat for dinner.)

I’m currently sitting on my kitchen floor typing this, because I didn’t want something else to happen. I figure if I stay in one spot maybe the bad karma will stop for a bit.

Days like the past few make me want to stay in bed all day long. I guess it makes me feel safer, like I won’t cause anymore destruction to others, or myself! But, I’m a big girl now, and I can understand that staying in bed will only make me feel worse.

So now I’m wondering, how can I make myself feel better.

I’ve been trying a few different things, to no avail (I bought a large iced mocha latte on my way home yesterday, and let’s just say I didn’t get much sleep), and I’ve only realized that TRYING to make myself feel better was the wrong way to go about the issue.

Maybe, the best way to fight bad karma is to recognize all the good karma you have, and the wonderful things that are happening in your life right now.

Okay, I’ll go first.

I have a college open house this Wednesday for Butler County Community College. I’ve been thinking about getting an Associates degree in Parks and Recreation. I would like to be a park ranger someday. I think that would be an amazing job to have. I also just read Jessica’s post, from Curiosity Travels, about her fab time as a tour guide this summer. I’d like to maybe do that these next few summers.

I’m visiting home this coming weekend for my nephew’s 4th birthday. I’m excited to give him his gift + his Halloween gift. I spent a lot of time on them. I also get to see my sister, and give her a very late birthday present. I’m really excited to see Miss Mocha, as well.

I’m hoping to get over to Smicksburg in early November for their 2 festivals (Old Fashioned Christmas Festival + Smicksburg Cookie Tour). I’d like to get some good shots and stories.

My cheerleading team has been doing okay. I’m hoping to talk with the coach from Slippery Rock University and see if he or she has any cheerleaders that would want to be my assistant coach. I’d like to bring in someone with tumbling experience to really help the girls excel. Our first competition is in December. I’m scared, but excited for the new experience as being a coach. I’ve also been contemplating asking my state director about starting a team up in Kane. I think there would be a really good turnout and it would be fun to teach some of those girls again.

I really want to start eating more natural and healthy foods. I went shopping the other day and realized that Giant Eagle has an amazing selection of Organic, Vegan/Vegetarian, and non-GMO foods, and it’s all in one little section. I swear I spent 20 minutes just looking at stuff.

I’ve been searching for an ‘Instagram theme’. I still don’t know what that really means, but it makes me feel like I’m taking a step in the right direction for my self-branding/blogging situation. I’ve been wondering if I should continue to actually write blogs, or if I should just switch over to Instagram and Snapchat blogging. Or I could do all 3. I think it’s very convenient to just post to Instagram and Snapchat, but sometime I like to actually type stuff out.

I’m really excited for the holiday season. I want to do some sort of ‘Blogmas’, but not sure what kind of content to write about. I kind of want it to be inspirational and meaningful, but still have no idea how to approach that. I’d also like to start making inspirational/meaningful/activism videos for YouTube. I’ve been feeling like I really need to take charge lately. I’d like to get my name out there and starting doing something.

Alright, I think that’s all I have to share at the moment. I hope me being ‘positive’ has someway affected you in a good way. Comment below some good karma that is happening in your life!

Also if you are wondering why there are random photos in this post, they are just ones that I felt were peaceful, tranquil, and a bit inspiring.

xoxo
